We are #IWO activists (Indian Women Organization) and we are working to stop violence against women, specifically the rape and murders of women and young girls in India by our social awareness project work. First we have started in 25 districts of two Indian states, we can extend to other states too. We travel in 25 Indian districts, raising awareness for social change. I am motivating women from rural areas, town and cities across India in order to get more women involved in IWO committees. My IWO work brings a positive contribution to Indian communities, making a difference in many women's lives.
We are effectively working to end the brutal rapes and murders of women and young girls by reforming Indian society. We need your support and help to make our project work.

Our Mission
Now the Indian women and female children are suffering by the kidnapping, brutal gang rape and killings. Some of criminals continue kidnapping to the women and girls to gang rape and killing to hide evidence to escape from the rape crime.

Here 40000 murders and 33000 rapes every year in India. That means a murder occurs every 15 minutes and a rape every 20 minutes. This averages over two rapes every hour, every day during the last 13 years. A total of 2,72,844 cases were reported across Indian 29 states and seven UTs in this period. Today, Millions Indian women are live in rape and death fear.

Every day Indian women and young girls are being raped and brutally killed by criminals. The reason is that Indian women and young girls are not aware of the Indian constitution’s fundamental rights, laws and acts protecting women. IWO activists first build an IWO local committee. They teach women and young girls about the Indian constitution’s fundamental rights and how to take legal action. So far 150 rapists and murderers have been arrested by police thanks to IWO activities.

IWO chief leaders have monthly meetings with all IWO committee members and volunteers. In these meetings women discuss how to solve different problems. Leaflets are always printed in local languages.

When women or young girls are raped by criminals, IWO activists organize a social awareness rally with masses of women in the streets and demand police action and criminals detention. Public outcry and awareness rallies have made a huge difference by exposing people to the issue who may not be aware and an awakened cultural climate eventually arises in which crimes against women are stopped before they can happen.

IWO Social Awareness Programs:

1. Indian Women's Organization (IWO) was founded in November 2016 and currently our project is to provide updated literacy, health and safety programs. We are trying to end rapes and murders of women and young girls by reforming Indian society and build a rape free safe society in 25 Indian districts.
​
2. We are spreading this social awareness project to end rapes and murders of women and young girls and build a rape free safe India. We visit villages and towns, building new relationships and expanding our network with Indian Women's Organization committees and our supporters.
​
3. IWO Chief leader Lalitha Sampathi is building the women protection teams with young girls in villages, towns and cities to stop violence against women and to end the rape crime.

4. New members are joining in Indian Women's Organization as committee members to attending our awareness programs, meetings, street rallies to end rapes and murders and build a rape free safe society and all community people are supporting us across India and World wide.

5. We conduct weekly and monthly awareness seminars and organize public discussion meetings with pamphlets and resources distributed about ending rapes and murders of women and young girls and build a rape free safe society.
6. We organize weekly and monthly awareness rallies with IWO activists, women protection team members, students, women leaders, our supporters, intellectual people and as well journalists to end rapes and murders of women and female children and build a rape free safe society.

7. IWO activists have printed lot of leaflets about stop violence against women, and stop rapes and killings of women and female children, and to save female children and women, and explain women's protection laws, crime and punishments. These are distributed to people in English, Hindi and languages. IWO women protection team members are distributing in the awareness meetings, rallies and street to the women, students and street people. some crime stopping by the leaflets distribution.

8. IWO women protection teams organize karate and kung fu martial arts teaching centers for women and young girls in our project implementing villages, towns and cities. Young women and girls are getting karate and kung fu martial arts to secure from criminals.

Stopping the violence against women and rape and murders by this IWO social awareness project work and women and young girls are getting self defense. Criminals are changing by our activities. They are showing more respect to Indian women and girls.

Indian Women Organization (IWO) is an non - profit organization, its started in November 2016 as a platform to provide opportunities for youth who wanted to take an active part in community development despite time constraints. Through this platform, Indian Women's Organization aims to empower women and youth to become positive change-makers who will enable organizations and institutions to work without a vested interest. Why Is This Project So Important?
There are 3,38,594 crime against women and 38,947 rapes, and 2,167 gang rapes every year in India. That means occurs every day 39 rapes. This rape cases were reported across Indian 29 states and seven UTs in one year period.
